Along with new releases at Select Sires, the April sire summary brought changes to the Jersey industry. The Jersey Performance Index (JPI) had a significant shift. Click here to visit the American Jersey Cattle Association website which has a comprehensive explanation and video talking about the JPI update in more detail. In addition to the JPI change; the new prefix (JX) now appears on Jersey animals with other-breed ancestors in six-generation pedigree. JERSEY REVOLUTION TEAM UPDATE

The Jersey Revolution is pleased to announce the addition of Marc Bolen to the Select Sires Jersey team! Marc’s background of milking Jersey cows, his appreciation for quality dairy cattle of all colors and his excellent team skills displayed as our current dairy progeny specialist, make Marc a logical fit. He will assist Herby Lutz in covering the growing needs of our federation in Jersey genetic market development and Jersey resource needs. Marc will be the Jersey contact for customer needs in Ohio, Mich., Ind., Western Penn. and N.Y.

We’re excited to watch Marc grow his talents and serve our customer owners in this Jersey role.
